Hey friends. Say a little 🙏🏻 this Sunday for my girl, Spanki. Her son’s horse fell on his leg and snapped it. They are waiting on surgery and could use lots of love, prayers, and good vibes. She’s the yin to my yang and needs our love! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And yes, I picked the most attractive photo of us to post. Ok ACCURATE photo, not attractive. Stuffing our faces on a roadtrip. Love you Spanki Rae. Praying for you all so hard right now.
The end of an era. The four most influential humans in my life are all together again. My grandparents were all incredible people. The toughest, kindest, unbelievably resilient people in the world. The lessons they each taught me shaped who I am.
Today we lost someone who changed the lives of so many people, his life could literally be a movie. I’m grateful for the years of him teaching me to make potato pancakes in the kitchen while telling me stories I almost couldn’t believe. But they were real and he is a hero to so many.
He is finally with the love of his life again and they are reunited in Heaven after a year apart. And probably hugging my other grandparents and looking down on their legacy. Because family was always the most important thing. The fact that my children got to know each of them is a blessing we don’t take lightly.
Thank you, Dido. Thank you for teaching me to never give up, to fight for what I believe in, to hold on to family, to have a servant’s heart, and to be grateful for the little things. Oh, and for the potato pancakes, Ukrainian lessons and all your terrible jokes. Give Baba a big hug from me, until we meet again. Love you.
